Landscaping
How is our landscaping? Post comments and suggestions here! Please be sure to label your comments as landscaping to ensure a prompt response.
I saw on the minutes that the construction company will replace the plants that died due to the freeze. Can they replace the plants with hardier plants that can withstand a hard freeze as well as our Houston heat? Otherwise, we will be replacing plants every year.
Can we get the irrigation company to adjust the water flow during watering? The current setting is creating large water puddles (especially in the places that the concrete was fixed to "alleviate" that problem). It should not cost anything to make the adjustment. If so, please provide us with an option of possible action.
During the last rain, gutters overflowed and created top soil run off into the parking areas. Can the gutters be cleaned to prevent this during the next down pour?
There is a significant amount of erosion and topsoil runoff because the gutters overflow. This is why there are clumps of mulch in the parking lot after it rains. Here is a photo of the sidewalk outside my unit. Let's pay for the gutters to be cleaned correctly and we'll spend less on replacing the landscaping that is washed away.
